Bach Flowers

Bach Flowers

The Bach Flower system was created by Dr Edward Bach in the early 1930s and consists of 38 plant-based remedies.

Dr Bach firmly believed that our personalities and state of mind greatly influence our health and based on this philosophy he developed a remedy to match each of what he believed to be the full range of human emotions.

Emotional states that can be matched to a Bach Flower remedy include:

  • Worry
  • Indecision
  • Uncertainty
  • Apathy
  • Impatience
  • Lack of confidence
  • Intolerance
  • Fear
  • Resentment
  • Guilt
  • Rigidity
  • Feeling overwhelmed
  • Procrastination
  • Despondency
  • Possessiveness
  • Pessimism
  • Jealously
  • Homesickness

Individualised Bach Flower formulas are created by combining up to seven different flower remedies.  The overall aim of a formula is always to help restore emotional balance.

Bach Flowers are worth considering if your emotions or personality traits are negatively impacting your wellbeing.
